Correction: The Sentinel story says the Learn To Row classes are free, but we need to keep our program going somehow. We're a nonprofit, so we do collect fees, but the funds only go toward operating our club, buying and repairing equipment and promoting the sport of rowing in Lake County. Three-day Learn To Row classes run $85 for more than six hours of personalized instruction, and that fee is applied to your registration if you decide to join the club.
